Planting under English Walnuts

    Point Reyes Station, CA
    I am in Northern CA, hardiness zone 9-10, and I am in search of some plant potentials for underneath my English walnut tree. Evergreen or flowering or edible, or any combination of these would be great! Thanks for your help
