When planting a peach tree or apple tree is it a problem if the previous to it has died and been removed from the hole for about 4 years? Is there a problem with the soil? Should that Soil be removed? I would be curious to know anything you know about this topic. Thank you...

The essential point is why the previous tree died. Nobody here will know that, of course.
