I want to plant some evergreen trees in an area of my property that has some existing deciduous trees. In the winter this area is quite wet, some standing water like now. The area is just needs a little more green in the winter. What kind of saplings would do well if I planted them amongst full grown deciduous trees. Granted I am willing to wait years before I could call them trees. Any advise on where to buy a few spruce pine or fir saplings and how/ when to plant would be great.
