Plant with holes identification

    I am trying to find the plant that used to grow wild in my grandmother's yard. It was a shrub that had large green leaves with holes in them. The leaves, if I remember correctly, were shaped like the playing cards clubs.

    sounds like s Split leaf philodendron.. and you being in hawaii you have a big rain forest of them ..go get yourself a clipping of one :) .. your leaves get humongous..
