I have a few plants that I do not know the name of, and would like to be able to look up care sheets on. The three plants and the first plant/tree (please excuse my ignorance) have not had a good summer my orchid only bloomed one (three) set of flowers this summer and the other plants poor shape speaks for themselves in the pics.

    Thanks.

    3. Looks like Phalaenopsis. Common name Moon orchid. It may be P. amabilis.

Thank you. I was told that orchids like to be in tight (or smaller pots). To me I feel like it needs an upgarde to a larger pot, I am thinking this is the reason one of them didn't flower this time around.

And the bromeliad looks like a Guzmania; what you're seeing there is the natural post-flowering state. It will start to throw smaller bromeliads now, since the mother plant has come to the end of her natural cycle.

ok I'm thinking a Guzmania sanguinea by looking at pictures, I guess I will place in a bigger pot and then trim away the now dead flower.

Thank you, it can very frustrating trying to look something up when you have nothing to go off of.

Thank you, looking at the pic, I'm thinking ADENIUM ABESUM by I can only go by the few leaves I get every so often as I've never had it flower. I am definately doing something very wrong here :) My first thought is too much water and very wrong substrate. I currently have it in potting soil, I think I probably need to mix it with sand and rock.

Thank you, I will be doing some research now.
