Can anyone recommend some plants for a low light/dark living room (West facing). Thanks! (The picture looks quite bright due to the flash)
Any number of Chamaedorea species would do well there... People are also known to keep Araucaria heteropylla (Norfolk Island Pine) in such conditions.
any of the above...also peace lily and 'lucky bamboo' which is actually a type of draceana. some hoya would do well in west-facing situation as well...
You might also like to try aglaonema (chinese evergreen) syngonium, philos, Sansevieria (snake plant) Chlorophytum orchidastrum (fire flash) and reg spider plants ficus elastica (rubber plant) ferns, and avs.
Wow, thanks for the tips! Quick question, do you think an umbrella plant could survive in low light conditions?
i would put it close to the window...like right in that corner that's right next to it. that should be enough light for it.
