As a newbie this site is a godsend.

I'm going deaf so I'm honing up on my replacement hobby for music. All pictures taken with a new Sony Cybershot DSC - HX9 (point and shoot) at Campbell Valley Regional Park.

Thanks to those generous souls who have answered my recent postings thus far.

Thanks Ron B! Edmonds is a lovely town ...

Does someone know if there is a common name for this Rosa?

Are the fruits on that Rosa not yet ripe, or why are they white? I thought all Rosa had reddish fruits.

I only put Rosa because the species is not apparent to me. In this view it looks to me like it might be non-native, having seeded out from cultivation. But if it were compared in person to known examples of a native species a different assessment might result.
