We planted a number of fruit bushes this year and they're all doing well, except this Saskatoon berry plant. From looking at the photo, any ideas what the problem might be?

    thanks

Looks like it baked in that hot spot. Get a bucket of clean water, pull it up, look at the roots to see what the situation may be. If dry you can immediately plunge it in the water. After you put it back give it a larger mulched area, with less exposure to heat-reflecting parched turf surface.

Or it is having a problem with mineral salts from fertilizer or irrigation water.

If it is sitting in a pocket of different material than the surrounding natural soil, remove that stuff and put the same dirt around its roots as is outside of the planting hole.
