    Really? Not like any tomatoes or potatoes I've seen around here- no red stem and leaves.

    Looks like a Lapsana to me.

    Ron's right, there's a similar photo on this page: yellow-flowered Asteraceae.

    (I wasn't thinking it was a tomato or potato by the way, but I thought perhaps a relative given the overall "roughness" to the plant, the hairy stems, and the leaf shape)

    Thanks Ron and Daniel. I did in fact take a look a couple of hours ago and saw the beginnings of yellow petals so looks like it is a Lapsana as you suggested, Ron.
