Bignoniaceae. Could be any of a number of them; even the flowers of Paulownia tomentosa are similar. Without seeing leaves I couldn't say more.

    Hi,

I'm with Daniel = Podranea ricasoliana (Bignoniaceae) = "Pink Trumpet Vine".

Commonly grown here in southern Portugal (just across the water from Morocco). A vigorous climber that flowers for quite a long period - perhaps 6 months. Grows best in full sun. Tolerant of wind and some salt. Needs little water but grows better with some irrigation in summer. A great plant !

Podranea, the genus name has no scientific meaning - it is just an anagram of the related Pandorea !!

    Ciao
    Brian
