Hi Please identify this plant. I was told it is a Chinese Rose. The flower petals look waxy. It has been blooming for 2 weeks now. This is the first year that I put it outside, and this year it bloomed. Picture is attached. Thank you.
A fully open flower would be more helpful but the leaves and flower bud look like a Hibiscus rosa-sinensis variety. Chinese hibiscus is a tropical species with hundreds of named varieties, perhaps someone on this board knows the name of yours? Simon
