Wildflowers: Plant Identification

    I apologize for having no information on this plant other than the photo and that it was taken in Middle TN. I'm hoping someone can help with it's identification? Thank you in advance.

    The unripe seedhead from a member of the Ranunculaceae, most likely a Clematis species.
