Identification: Plant identification

    We have had this plant for 10 years and have no idea what it is. The leaves are purple and thick like a succulent and has a milky liquid in it when you break the leaf off. The plant will grow to 20ft and we lop it off low and within a few years it grows back to that height. We keep it indoors because I don't think it would last through a cold winter in PA.
