plant identification

    Hi...I need help in identifying this plant. I do not know if this is a fern or an evergreen. I am from the Philippines and the common name for this plants in our country is bottle brush plant but searching the same name in google does not produce the same results. It would be greatly appreciated if someone can identify the scientific name for this plant...thanks in advance.

    Perhaps Melaleuca alternifolia.

    Melaleuca alternifolia looks right to me also.
