This plant has arrived here in the last 5 months. It is about 4 feet tall and it is on my south facing bank. We live on Vancouver Island in the Pacific Northwest. There were flowers that were mauve in colour and shaped similiar to a closed morning glory bloom. It has what I would call a nut with spikes on it. The deer do not appear to like this plant. About the same time it appeared we had top soil brought in and the other possibility would be from our bird feeder with wild bird seeds. Anyone have an idea what I have?
