Identification: plant identification

    I pulled this tree in attachment from neighbors trash. I thought it was a Ficus tree but it bares fruit. In the pic they are small and round but as they grow they get pear shape and grow to about 1 inch long and turn yellow. Can anyone help me identify it.

    It is a species of Ficus - those fruit are small figs.

    They won't be poisonous, but may not taste very nice. Some species of Ficus have very bitter figs.
