Hi, I have 2 plants that I am not sure what they are. The first one I'd like to start a new one for my mom, not sure how. Any help would be great, thanks, SRM

The first is a begonia. There are so many hybrids you'll need someone really into begonias to give you a specific name. The second appears to be a hybrid from of Philodendron erubescens. That species is common to both Central and South America. The red petiole is a dead giveaway. This species has been used to hybridize many forms so it is almost impossible to tell you what the other parent may have been. They are now sold under all sorts of trade names including Red Philodendron, Imperial Red Philodendron, Rojo Congo Philodendron and a bunch more.
