    Grows to a height of 5ft and has white spiky flowers, throws seeds everywhere

    Plume Poppy (Macleaya cordata) AKA Bocconia. Can become seriously
    invasive from underground runners as well as seedlings. Beware.

    It's hard to be vigilant enough... mine is in a large container after I experienced the spread after a single year in the ground.
