Plant identification requested.

    While hiking on a trail in Northern Arizona, I came across this plant with a wide white flower in full bloom. Could someond identify it for me?

    How about Argemone munita or prickly poppy? Actually there were other Argemone from AZ I couldn't find pictures of so you might search further through the list from the USDA plants page to narrow it down. Indented names are synonyms so skip them. Sorry Joe, I think the leaf is wrong for the Romneya. The flower similarity is remarkable though. Harry
