I was told this plant was called a Japanese Brides Bush.
This is the second year for this plant for me.
It grows quickly each year to about 10 ft in height.
    Stalks are hollow and tender.
Cut back at seasons end (Spring to Fall)
    Its texture is woody.
It blooms small clusters of white flowers ( Like hanging grapes)
Aging to a purplish red color.
    Any help would be appreciated.

Perhaps Fallopia japonica? The only thing that doesn't seem to match is "Aging to a purplish red color." What part of the plant ages to that colour?

    More Info

    The flowers themselves change color.
    The Stalks darken some too.
    To a reddish green.
This plant grows more upright , somewhat like bamboo.
