plant identification HELP!

    can anyone help me to ID this specific type of agapanthus? I love the pre-bloom purple heads!

    Not apaganthus. Sorry. These are Allium schoenoprasum, common garden chives. Having baked potatoes tonight? Yummy!

    I agree, Chives, I have several bunches in my flower/herb garden.

    chives? awesome...so, are they related to agapanthus?

    Related to agapanthus? Well...in general, sort of. They're both in the same family, but are not close relatives. Sort of distant cousins. Chives are related to onions and garlic. Yummy. I wasn't kidding about the baked potato. Same chives you buy in the store.
