Wow - 114 people viewing the Plant Identification forum at 12:23am pdt Oct 6. Only four of those are logged in. They're not even all looking at the mushroom posting. It's not obvious what they're looking at. I'm assuming it's an accurate number.

Before I officially joined and registered I spent ages looking, and reading as many old id threads as I could! Also the old stumpers. May be others are doing the same.
Right now there are only 7 members, with 281 guests, of which 112 are surfing the plant id forum. In Canada it is in the middle of the night, over this side of the world it is 9.00am.
I am sure the figures will be accurately counted, electronically.

The figures are accurate, but when you see spikes in users in a particular area, it usually means that web crawlers for search engines are reviewing the pages for indexing the content in their search engines.

Thanks for posting that, Daniel. I've still been paying attention to the number and haven't seen anything like that since. Now I can ignore it.
