Identification: Plant ID please!

    I would really like to know what this is. My professor let me take some cuttings and she got the cuttings that started this one like twenty five years ago. I have never seen something quite like it. I love it. Can anyone help me out?

    Have to get lorax in on this ID, but looks like a Philodendron to me.

    Nice plant!

    OH WOW!!!!!!!1 Ok, thankyou very much. I typed this into google basically and started searching images. There are like a million types of Philodentdons! Well, I think I found it though, "Red Emerald" Does anyone confirm. I really just loved this plant so much that I searched out the owner and asked for some cuttings. Love her for giving me some!!! But there were not many with this coloring. I think this is it.
    What is a lorax? Or who?

    Yes, there ARE about a million philodendrons! As you will see, ID can be tough, as plants can look very different in various stages of development.
