My wife got this plant from a friend, who apparently got it from her mom a long time ago. She puts this plant away in some corner of the house every year, and the plant pretty much looks dried up and dead, except every year it starts to grow again and it has been doing this for years. She doesn't know the name but she calls it "the resurrection plant" because it seems to come back from the dead every time :)

The plant recently flowered so if anyone knows what it is we would appreciate it

    thanks
