Wildflowers: Plant ID please

    need help with id of this wildflower:

    Blooming in Central Arkansas, Lonoke County right now, part shade, part sunny, clay soil

    plant is about 1-2 foot high

    thin stem, light purple color of blossoms

    Looks like Purple Gerardia, Agalinis purpurea : )

    I agree with you, after having your id of the plant, I looked at pics. info on the web and it matches with the plant, thanks for your help, weedbender -
    I hope more will come up next year, there are only a few stalks this year -
