Wildflowers: Plant ID please

    is it same kind of cane? found in several locations, in shade and sunny spots, perennial,
    size about 2 - 3 ft, looks very ornamental

    I cross checked with the native plant database, U of Texas, Austin,
    your id matches exactly - thanks for your help

    it's also called wild oats, river oats .... I hope to plant more of it

    Be sure you REALLY like it as it can become quite a garden thug.

    I have the space and other fellow gardeners may want it too

    and I can use it in flower arrangements
