I belong to a photography club and I need to know the name of the plant in the photo. The photo was taken at Lake OHara (just west of the BC/Alberta border). The leaf seems to be on a vine type plant growing along the ground in a wet mossy area.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Off-hand, it seems like something in the buttercup family, or Ranunculaceae (this also matches somewhat with the environment you describe). Beyond that, though, I don't think I could make an ID.

Thanks for the name and the link. From the pics on the link, it looks like it might be the leaf of the Globeflower (trollius laxus).
