I am attaching a picture of these two plants. One is with big and wide leaves and white flowers on tall stems. The other plant has horn liked leaves. I just moved to the new house and the previous owner planted these plants. Thanks.
1. Plant with large leaves. Looks like Acanthus. Possibly Acanthus mollis. Common name Bear's breeches. http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgu...&ndsp=25&ved=1t:429,r:7,s:26&biw=1247&bih=529 http://www.google.co.uk/images?hl=e...=UTF-8&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi&biw=1247&bih=529 2. Smaller leaf with horns. Looks like Arum. Possibly Arum italicum. It has numerous common names, including Cuckoo pint. http://www.garten.cz/a/cz/4779-arum-italicum-subsp.-italicum-marmoratum-aron-vlassky-pravy/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arum_italicum
Thanks for your answer. You are so knowledgeable. I asked many people and some other websites before, you are the only one knows the answer, really appreciate it.
With that leaf outline it would be Acanthus mollis 'Latifolius'. This is the dominant form in horticulture out here.
