plant ID please: big leaf and horn shaped leaf

    I am attaching a picture of these two plants. One is with big and wide leaves and white flowers on tall stems. The other plant has horn liked leaves. I just moved to the new house and the previous owner planted these plants.

    1. Plant with large leaves.
    Looks like Acanthus. Possibly Acanthus mollis. Common name Bear's breeches.

    2. Smaller leaf with horns.
    Looks like Arum. Possibly Arum italicum. It has numerous common names, including Cuckoo pint.

    With that leaf outline it would be Acanthus mollis 'Latifolius'. This is the dominant form in horticulture out here.
