Plant ID of tree that just appeared

    Can anyone help me ID what tree this might be. It wasn't planted but just appeared growing in the garden and I'm not sure if it's one that we should keep or not.

    I'll attached pictures; although they aren't that good as the leaves are now falling off.

    Looks like a little Birch tree.

    Yep, a birch; probably Silver Birch, which is listed as invasive in the region.

    Much planted here and often popping up in garden beds.
