Identification: Plant ID Help - SE British Columbia, Canada

    I saw these about a week ago near a lake in SE British Columbia. I see nothing in my ID book which helps me identify these. Sorry for a lack of footage of leaves...

    It worked for me too, but here's a different link to the same 32 second video. There are essentially three views in the video. You can go to 10 sec, 20 sec, and 30 sec.

    An Anemone of some kind, I suppose Anemone occidentalis.

    No, I used to see many of those out where I worked - I would've recognized those. But it appears you are close... I was told today that they are prairie crocus (a. patens) - which I also would of thought I recognized... but I had never observed them past their initial purple, fuzzy stage. I didn't recognize them at this stage! Thank you for the reply.
