Plant ID help - a tree in Langley

    Hi all, hope you are doing good!

    I have trouble IDing this guy. It is in Metro Van.
    The leaves look like Portuguese laurel, but I have never seen a Portuguese laurel in such a big tree form before.

    Can anyone ID it?

    Prunus lusitanica. This is quite a small one, it can get much larger - up to 12 m tall, and 50 cm trunk diameter.
