I am looking for species and subspecies identification here.

All of these photos are from Pompeys Pillar National Monument in southeastern Montana. All were taken in July.

The first two photos are from the same tree.

The third photo is from the branch of a tree loaded with berries.

The fourth photo was a light yellow wildflower on the bank of the Yellowstone River.

The fifth photo was a bit from the shore of the Yellowstone River. I thought at first that it might be a Western sunflower (Helianthis occidentalis) but it seemed too orange for the ones that I know. I thought also it might be a Maximilian sunflower (Helianthus maximiliani) but those are tall and these were only a few inches high.

The sixth photo may or may not be related to the yellow flower in photo five, but was located much farther from the river in an opening of a wooded area.

#1 is Rocky Mountains Juniper Juniperus scopulorum, with a bad spider-mite infestation.
