    Hi everyone,

I'm new to the the Botanical Garden online community and could use some help. I have a plant I'm not able to identify. It was found in Northern Alberta (specifically at Fox Lake within the Little Red River Cree Nation) sometime mid October.

This is a very close up photo and unfortunately its the only one I have. I do believe the plant produces some sort of berry though they are not present in the image. Any information would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you,

Looks like kinnikinnick, bearberry, Arctostapylos uva-ursi. That is a plant that one could also find in Quebec.
