Hi folks. I'm new on this forum and have joined because I need some help Identifying a plant/flower. This plant is quite a large one and has a very dark purple stem. large (about 18cm for the biggest leaves) green leaves with lilac/purple flowers. and is just beginning to flower. If this helps I live in Yorkshire, England and have taken a few photos of it. The plant/flower/weed (whatever it is) will have to be moved in the next few days as construction of a new house is starting. If it prooves to be a rare or unusual thing I will endeavour to give it a new home. My apologies for the poor photograph taking James
Thanks for this. It is a very pretty plant, but with 2 small kids wandering round the place, it will have to go. I can't have poisonous plants round the place.
