I have been given this plant to keep as an indoor house plant. I would like to get information on how to properly care for it.

    - How much sun can it tolerate? I have bright indirect light, scorching direct sun, and partial shade locations in my home.
    - The plant is 4 inches tall with many large 4 inch long leaves, and it came in a 4 inch pot. Should I repot it? What size pot should I use?
    - When should I repot it? Is now a good time? On the web I have read that it is better to wait until fall so as to not shock it before or during flowering season. The plant is not currently in flower. Is the pot too small to keep it in there until fall, or would it hurt it more to transplant it right now?
    - What kind of soil should I use for it? (Detailed info is appreciated, I've never made my own soil mix.)

    Thanks a lot!
