plan a key lime by the water in the bahamas

How do you plant a key lime and have it live??? we live on the water and get sea spray. Burmuda grass I also see covers my pineapples... is that normal???

 

Consider growing your key lime in a container and watering it with fresh water.

 

Hi we do water the plants with fresh water but to get key limes i dont think you can keep it in the container ...

 

Of Course you can grow Key limes in containers, since they are one of the most cold sensitive citrus and the easiest to grow from seed, they are commonly grown in containers. I have several in containers now.
