Pistacia terebinthus ?

    Hi everyone!

    Is this Pistacia terebinthus? Maybe a young plant...

    The second pic appears to show opposite leaves, so (unless I'm misinterpreting the photo, which is possible) it isn't Pistacia. The photo isn't all that clear though. Can you check the plant closely to see what the leaf arrangement is? Look out for leaf scars from any leaves that have already fallen.

    Valter,

    I think you might be right, but it looks a very miserable stressed specimen. Perhaps quite an old plant growing in a very poor situation - stressed by the summer heat and drought?

    ...but I am not at all certain about the identity....the limestone habitat with the Kermes oak is of course just where you would expect to find it...
