Pissardii or cistena?

    How do you make the difference between Prunus pissardii and Prunus x cistena?

    I've got 2 big ones, one in the back garden and one in the front garden. To me they're the same. Is P. x cistena smaller?

    So far, I've always called them pissardii (I lost the tag long ago), but some self-sown ones (courtey of the birds for some of them) have almost white petals. It came to my mind that if x cistena is a hybrid, it might revert to one of the parent plants. What do you think?
