Hi, Short & Sweet, I was wandering around my local Home Depot and ran across this neat little Pine, No tag and I have no idea what it is, It is in a 2 gallon container, Spreading & about 16" across, Short needles & soft, Nice thing is,They had no real idea what it was either, So for $6.95 I have a great addition to my garden, Sure would like to know what it might be.
Thanks in advance for any info.

Looks Spruce-y to me, but wait for Micheal F. He will probably know right down to cultivar.

Pot may need to be plunged in a pail of clean water, there is some leaf scorching visible. Also be sure to pull open the roots when planting out and water diligently for some time afterward.

Although growing mere inches per year it will eventually form a "nest" several feet across. Place accordingly.
