I recently bought this plant at a Flower Show in Melbourne, Australia. It looks really pretty, but I have no idea what plant it is. I was searching the internet and books but couldn't find its name. I don't even know its species...maybe a kind of cactus? I've never seen anything like it before. I hope you guys can help me out.

    Thanks!!

Attached is a pic of the plant.
