Pink wildflower ID, Kamloops alpine

    Certainly looks like Comarum palustre - is the pic from last year or earlier? Asking as it's much too early for this season's flowers on it, it's not even in leaf yet here, won't be flowering until mid June to July.

    Comarum palustre or known as purple marshlocks. This is mainly a waterside shrub, so you probably photographed it near a stream or lake?

    Yes, the flower was growing in a marshy area on the edge of a lake.
