Pink Leaves on this large shrub

    I wondered if this was some kind of smokebush cultivar, but no one I ask seems to know. It was found in a yard in Qualicum Beach when I attended a garage sale there last summer. The owner was unsure of the name but said it had sparked interest from several people who had visited that day.

    Hi,
    It certainly looks like Cotinus, but very weird colouring.

    Various other colored foliage forms of trees and shrubs produce growths like this also.

    I will try to take more pictures of this shrub when I come across it again.
