Pink flowers common along Stanley Park forest trailsides

    These beautiful little things are presently decorating the sunny spots beside the forest trails in Stanley Park. They greet me happily every time I visit, but I don't know their names.

    Do you know who they are? Thank you.

    And I read that Silene is a Greek woodland feminine deity, so the happiness of these flowers' greeting is indeed appropriate. Carl evidently thought so too.
