Verbena.

 

It looks like one of the annual summer bedding Verbena. I would never call something so beautiful a weed!

I called it a weed because it grows all by itself but I agree it's a very nice one ;-)

Anyone know which species of Verbena this is as it seems this is no the officinale one which I could use as tea ?

 

Were you meaning the Lemon Verbena used for a herbal tea? That is not the same at all! That is Aloysia triphylla.

Your plant is possibly Verbena x hybrida.
