I found this in a friend's garden in Los Angeles.

The fruits look like a little fig with only one pea-like seed inside.

Does anyone has an idea of what is it ?

    Thank you

It looks like the cultivar sold in some countries as 'Springtime' -- not sure what it's called in N America -- allegedly a form of the hybrid R. x delacourii, though most plants that I have seen labelled R. x delacourii have foliage that seems to fall within the range of variation of R. indica. These are very adaptable plants, tolerating quite deep shade though not then flowering as freely as in full sun.
