I'm growing several pineapple sages in containers. For several months, they did absolutely beautifully. They grew like nobody's business, from a couple inches tall to over 2 feet high within a matter of weeks. Some bloomed, others didn't.
Now, however, several of the plants have begun to show crispy brown spots. I'm concerned that these might spread. Any ideas what they might be? Too much sun exposure? Too much water? In that case, though, then why did they do so well initially?

I really love these plants, both for their fragrance and for what their spice adds to my meals. Any advice on keeping them healthy would be much appreciated.
