Every spring when I put my tomatillos in the ground these guys show mating and laying eggs on the leaf undersides.

I thought it was a Pigweed Flea Beetle -- via Edupic.com it appears the most similar -- but the stripe weights are reversed. My pest has much larger white stripes than black.

Is this Pigweed or some other? thanks.

    Hmm. I doubt the Pigweed.

    Great site.
Click on the beetle image on the left side of the screen. Hours of fascinating perusal to be had!

    Good luck in your quest.

    Thanks for the guide.

I guess I'll just have to go with Leaf Miner -- just one of thousands.
