It was such a beautiful sunny day yesterday that I couldn't help taking some pictures of the mature T. fortunei here in Chemainus. I have seen many posted from Vancouver, Victoria, and Nanaimo, but it's time the "Little town that did" gets on the map, too! These palms are in the 20-30 foot range and were planted in the early nineties (approx 12-15 years old). They take alot of abuse and have never had any pampering.
Ahh yes! Very "Island" and they do have all the hallmarks of fine palms! Thanks palmera, for the fine plam pics. Cheers, LPN.
