With mosquitoes present, picking can be annoying, since both hands are used, one to lift the vegetation and the other to pick. I place landscape fabric under the plants to keep the berries out of the soil. http://www.durgan.org/ShortURL/?PSXHC 2008 Growing experience.

These will be cooked gently, sweetened with a couple drops of stevia and eaten as preserved fruit. http://www.durgan.org/ShortURL/?PSXHC 2008 Growing experience.
