PH problem

    any one have an idea as to why my PH will not come down below 7.5 -8.0. I have used both white and apple cider vinegar to lower it but it will climb right back up.

    Have you tested your irrigation water? I use elemental sulfur dug into the soil. It is long lasting. See if you can find a copy of "Western Fertilizer Handbook". Although a little old, this book has all the principles of soil amendment.

    merlyn - some context is needed! The pH of what? What are you trying to do/grow?
